Christian Price is a scientist who suffered a tragedy unsolved by local police. Christian's character is an exemplary example of a sociopath, and seeing his inner thoughts was both alarming and disturbing. The ineptitude of the police department was frustrating and indicated that their protocols failed miserably. I was impressed with how beautifully the story was written and how smoothly the pacing flowed; the author did an excellent job of creating just the right amount of intensity.
